Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 499 New Cases In Nigeria; 157 In Lagos, 59 In Edo, 56 In Ondo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed four hundred and ninety nine (499) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 499 coronavirus cases in the country, 157 in Lagos, 59 in Edo, 56 in Ondo, 31 in Oyo, 22 in Akwa Ibom, 21 in Borno, 19 in Plateau, 18 in Kaduna, 18 in Katsina, 17 in Bayelsa, 17 in the FCT, 14 in Delta, 11 in Kano, 10 in Rivers, 8 in Enugu, 6 in Ogun, 4 in Kwara, 3 in Imo, 2 in Nasarawa, 2 in Osun, 1 in Abia, 1 in Ekiti, 1 in Niger and 1 in Yobe.
As of Wednesday, July 1st, there are 30,748 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 12,546 patients have been discharged, with 689 deaths.
