Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 118 New Cases In Nigeria; 41 In Lagos, 19 In Rivers, 17 In Osun, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and eighteen (118) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 118 coronavirus cases in the country, 41 were recorded in Lagos, 19 in Rivers, 17 in Osun, 13 in Nasarawa, 5 in Kaduna, 5 in Anambra, 3 in Edo, 3 in Ogun, 3 in Kwara, 3 in Ondo, 2 in Katsina, 2 in Niger, 1 in Plateau and 1 in Akwa Ibom.
As of Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 there are 59,583 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 51,308 patients have been discharged, with 1,113 deaths.
