Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 120 New Cases In Nigeria; 65 In Rivers, 12 In FCT, 9 In Ogun, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and twenty (120) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 120 coronavirus cases in the country, 65 were recorded in Rivers, 12 in the FCT, 9 in Ogun, 8 in Katsina, 7 in Anambra, 5 in Bauchi, 5 in Oyo, 3 in Nasarawa, 2 in Kaduna, 1 in Kwara, 1 in Taraba, 1 in Imo and 1 in Delta.
As of Monday, October 5th, 2020 there are 59,465 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 50,951 patients have been discharged, with 1,113 deaths.
