Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 544 New Cases In Nigeria; 199 In Lagos, 65 In Ebonyi, 47 In Oyo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed five hundred and forty four (544) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 544 coronavirus cases in the country, 199 were recorded in Lagos, 65 in Ebonyi, 47 in Oyo, 46 in Ondo, 31 in Ogun, 30 in Edo, 28 in the FCT, 25 in Katsina, 15 in Plateau, 11 in Bayelsa, 10 in Kaduna, 10 in Adamawa, 8 in Akwa Ibom, 7 in Gombe, 4 in Kano, 3 in Taraba, 2 in Rivers, 2 in Abia and 1 in Ekiti.
As of Wednesday, July 1st, there are 28,711 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 11,665 patients have been discharged, with 645 deaths.
