Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 195 New Cases In Nigeria; 82 In Lagos, 30 In Kano, 19 In Zamfara, 18 In Sokoto, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and ninety five (195) new cases on coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed coronavirus cases in the country, 82 were recorded in Lagos, 30 in Kano, 19 in Zamfara, 18 in Sokoto, 10 in Borno,
9 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 8 in Oyo, 5 in Kebbi, 5 in Gombe, 4 in Ogun, 3 in Katsina, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Adamawa.
As of Wednesday, May 6th, 2020, there are 3145 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID19) reported in Nigeria. 534 patients have been discharged, with 103 deaths.
The NCDC disclosed this on Wednesday, via its official Twitter handle, @NCDCgov.
