Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 148 New Cases In Nigeria; 43 In Lagos, 32 In Kano, 14 In Zamfara, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and forty eight (148) new cases on coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed coronavirus cases in the country, 43 were recorded in Lagos, 32 in Kano, 14 in Zamfara, 10 in the FCT, 9 in Katsina, 7 in Taraba, 6 in Borno, 6 in Ogun, 5 in Oyo, 3 in Edo, 3 in Kaduna, 3 in Bauchi, 2 in Adamawa, 2 in Gombe, 1 in Plateau, 1 in Sokoto and 1 in Kebbi
As at 11:40 pm on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020, there are 2950 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) reported in Nigeria. 481 patients have been discharged, with 98 deaths.
