Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 288 New Cases In Nigeria; 88 In Lagos, 33 In Kwara, 27 In Osun, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and eighty eight (288) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 288 coronavirus cases in the country, 88 were recorded in Lagos, 33 in Kwara, 27 in Osun, 25 in the FCT, 25 in Enugu, 20 in Abia, 17 in Kaduna, 13 in Plateau, 13 in Rivers, 10 in Delta, 8 in Gombe, 4 in Ogun, 3 in Oyo, 1 in Katsina and 1 in Bauchi.
As of Monday, August 3rd, 2020 there are 44,129 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 20,663 patients have been discharged, with 896 deaths.
