Kaduna Records 50 Coronavirus Cases Through Kano Almajiris – El-Rufai
Fifty cases of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) recorded in Kaduna State are from the almajiris repatriated from Kano State.
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, made this disclosure via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday, May 3rd, 2020.
El-Rufai said fifteen (15) more almajiris who were transported from Kano to Kaduna had tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
He said out of the sixteen (16) tested positive, fifteen (15) of them were all almajiris.
The governor tweeted,
The Kaduna State Ministry of Health this evening confirmed receipt of 16 more positive results, 15 of them from almajiris.
The state has now recorded 50 cases from repatriated almajiris. Active cases have risen to 57.
