Gov Umahi Goes For Coronavirus Test
The Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, said he has sent his samples for coronavirus test to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
He added that if the sample came back positive, he would hand over to his deputy, Kelechi Igwe.
The governor stated this in Abakaliki on Thursday during the swearing-in of some newly appointed government officials.
Umahi said he had to send in his samples after some government officials tested positive for the viral disease recently.
The governor said the result of the test would be out on Friday (today) and promised to keep the people informed of the outcome.
