Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 153 New Cases In Nigeria; 81 In Lagos, 21 In Rivers, 11 In FCT, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and fifty three (153) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 153 coronavirus cases in the country, 81 were reported in Lagos, 21 in Rivers, 11 in the FCT, 8 in Ogun, 7 in Kaduna, 6 in Oyo, 5 in Akwa Ibom, 3 in Osun, 3 in Katsina, 2 in Edo, 2 in Ebonyi, 2 in Nasarawa, 1 in Plateau and 1 in Kano.
As of Thursday, October 1st, 2020 there are 59,001 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 50,452 patients have been discharged, with 1,112 deaths.
