Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 239 New Cases In Nigeria; 116 In Plateau, 33 In FCT, 19 In Lagos, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and thirty nine (239) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 239 coronavirus cases in the country, 116 were reported in Plateau, 33 in the FCT, 19 in Lagos, 12 in Ekiti, 11 in Kaduna, 11 in Ogun, 8 in Ebonyi, 7 in Benue, 5 in Abia, 5 in Delta, 4 in Ondo, 3 in Edo, 2 in Imo, 2 in Osun and 1 in Bauchi.
As of Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 there are 54,247 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 42,010 patients have been discharged, with 1,023 deaths.
