The debut season of the Ultimate Love reality competition series created by pay-TV operator, Multichoice Nigeria for DStv, Season 1, has come to an end.

Ultimate Love Finale Timeline

The finale started with highlights of the check out of ObiEbi and PreshDavid last week.

That was followed by check out of Chivia. Sadly, Chivia became the first couple to be checked today. And they proceeded to the door immediately afterwards, meaning they’re out of the race for the ultimate victory.

That left only four couples, DoubleChris, Iykeresa, Bolar and Roksie in the Love Pad.

The second couple that was checked out after an interlude was DoupleChris, leaving Iykeresa, Bolar and Roksie.

After their usual interlude, Bolar was checked out, leaving only two couple, Iykeresa and Roksie in the Love Pad.

After Bolar’s check out, the presenter read some tweets from fans, followed by an interlude. During that space of

time, PreshDavid and ObiEbi were asked about their experience while on the show and how they’ve been doing after

being checked out last Wednesday. Then, DoubleChris and Bolar were also asked similar questions. All the checked

out couples were upbeat and giggly, despite their check out.

Still during the interlude, the checked out were presented with gifts. Chivia got N250,000 plus jewelleries.

DoubleChris received N400,000 plus some “lovely stuffs”. Bolar received N250,000.

Then, the presenter crossed over to the love Pad for the big moment – announcing the winning couple of the Ultimate Love Season 1, Roksie.

The couple who were runners-up are Iykeresa, and they were awarded a cash prize.

Roksie received a gift of N150,000. And immediately afterwards, Kachi pledged to make a formal proposal to Rosie within 90 days.

Kachi pledged,

I tie this as a commitment of my love to you and PLEAD, that you spend the rest of eternity with me.

As things stand, it looks like the winning couple’s love story has inspired Ultimate Love fans most.

The winning contestants, Roksie, have been declared the “Ultimate Couple”. With that winning, Roksie, will be awarded a cash prize of N5,000,000, a dream home and an all-expenses paid traditional wedding worth N10,000,000. However, the house gift is subject for the couple having married and lived together for twelve (12) months.
