BBNaija 2020 Finale: Laycon Wins Big Brother Naija Grand Prize
Big Brother Naija Season 5 has finally come to an end, with Laycon being announced as the winner of the coveted ₦85 million grand prize.
Here is a breakdown of the grand prize:
₦30 million cash prize; two-bedroom apartment courtesy of Revolution Plus; Dubai trip for two courtesy of TravelBeta; Innoson SUV; Champions League Finale trip; One year supply of Pepsi and a branded chiller; a trip to Dublin courtesy of Guinness; OPPO Reno 3 smartphone; One year supply of Indomie, Munch It and Colgate; and TV and premium Fridge by Scanfrost.
The Finale Show began at exactly 7:00 pm (WAT) with the Host, Ebuka announcing that the show would wind up tonight.

After the entertainment, it was time for the first eviction of the first Housemate for the night. First of all, Big Brother celebrated all the five finalists, one-by-one, calling them out by their names.
Then Ebuka announced that Vee has been evicted from the show, after asking all the Housemates to stand.
Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper, Rema brought down the BBNaija Lockdown House with an epic musical performance.
Neo was the second Housemate to be evicted tonight.
Fireboy came back on stage after Neo’s eviction for more entertainment.
After the entertainment and an interlude, Ebuka went back to business and announced that Nengi has been evicted from the show. She became the third Housemate to be evicted tonight, leaving two finalists, Laycon and Dorathy.
Nengi said after eviction that she didn’t know if she will pursue her relationship with Ozo.
After the ensuing interlude, Biggie instructed Dorathy and Laycon to leave the House, that their stay was over. And they left.
They next stage of the Finale was outside the House, where all the ex Housemates were gathered.
Mayorkun and Davido lighted up the show with electrifying entertainment.
After the entertainment, Ebuka ushered Laycon and Dorathy in, and chatted with them.
Then, Ebuka announced that Laycon is the winner of the Big Brother Naija Season 5 reality show.
Laycon got a commanding 60% of the votes, Dorathy received 21.85%, Nengi got 15.03%, Neo received 1.94%, while Vee received 1.18%.
The Winner’s Prize Presentation will take place on Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 starting at 11:00 am. It will be a Live Event on DStv channel 198 and GOtv.
The reality show premiered on Sunday, July 19th, 2020 on Africa Magic and the live feed on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29. Former Housemate, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, from Season One returned to host the show.
