BBNaija 2020 Update Spicy Nene: Entanglements Have Set In
It’s only been two weeks since 20 Big Brother Naija Lockdown Housemates entered Biggie’s House but alas, these ones eh! They have given us so much drama that we can only wonder what the next seven weeks in the House will be like.
Happy new month my people. It’s your favourite gossip partner, Spicy Nene, and I’m here to serve you all the Lockdown tea when it’s hot. So while I leave you to go and wear your gossip hats, why not give me a minute to grab my huge cup of tea?
Okay, so where were we?
Now it looks like this Lockdown Season is going to be the most record-breaking yet! See how these Housemates entered Biggie’s House and next thing, they are steady trending daily, owning these Twitter streets because there’s always something interesting to keep us glued to our screens and plenty to gist and tweet about. Interesting!
Entanglements everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE!
You are not the only who has been confused about the ships that have constantly been shifting course in Biggie’s House. In their quest to get to know each other, the Housemates have given us the real definition of falling in love at first sight.
Speaking of entanglements, this one that Nengi is using Ozo to do anyhow and Dorathy has for some reason now friendzoned him… can Biggie just send me into the House even if it’s for just this Saturday Night Party, so I can show Ozo some good tender loving and care. He deserves it for being such a gentleman. Is it so?
Neo and Vee
The first week had me thinking Neo and Vee were just using us to catch better cruise in the game but to be honest, these two have given me more couple goals (or is it entanglement you people call it) than Will Smith and his wife, Jada have. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that they’re always hiding under the sheets to do their mushy talk. Like come on guys, we’re in this relationship together, so include the rest of us, okay?
Ps: This is a Neo appreciation post for all the cute outfit slays he’s been giving us back-to-back.
Eric and Lilo
I somehow feel that these guys are married and they just came to use us to do small Nollywood. That’s the only explanation for all the round-the-clock cuddling and hanging around each other that they do. I mean, do they even hang out with other Housemates? I can’t deny that they look cute together, and I also find it cute when Eric carries her without even flinching. The main question is when?
Our unofficial entanglements – Prince and Nengi (and Ozo/Dorathy), Kiddwaya and Erica (and Wathoni/Nengi). I won’t allow these Housemates to give me headache trying to understand this thing they’re doing. But I’m not going to judge them. After-all, that is what happens when you put fine boys and girls together. There is so much confusion everywhere.
While we wait for things to unfold between these unofficial couples, let’s keep enjoying Nengi leading Ozo and Prince on, while telling them they’re just her friends. Let’s also enjoy Kiddwaya telling Wathoni how cute they look together, while he cuddles up with his official bae and showers her with kisses.
The underdog of the Season?
Brighto seemed reserved at first, but just look at how he’s gossiping about everyone! I mean who would have thought that Twitter’s favourite meme and ‘evangelist’ is the low-key instigator of all the lit midnight conversations that happen in that House. His favourite line seems to be
…do you know this Housemate likes you?
Did you see him at the Saturday Night Party? Man was on fire and I can’t wait for the dance floor madness he’ll unleash tonight. Please don’t remove your shirt again, that’s for team six packs only.
Flirting season!
No one flirts better than these two and it makes me think they might actually be good for each other. Team kiddrica, I beg you – don’t come for me.
Have you noticed that apart from flirting with other Housemates, Kiddwaya and Nengi also share a bit of flirting and teasing moments with each other? Take for instance, one time they were playing the ‘ayo’ and Kiddwaya asked Nengi who she liked in the House… which made me wonder if Ozo is truly his friend in that House, because if your guy likes a babe, shouldn’t you be helping him build the ship? Anyway, back to the gist; Nengi replied saying,
I like you now, it’s you I like.
I was there thinking it was the right time for Kiddwaya to clear this babe so he can help his friend win her over. Only for my guy to say,
okay, apart from me, who do you like?
See guys, all I have to say about this matter is that in this life just have money because it beats me why this same guy is leading Wathoni on, getting boo’ed up with Erica and also being flirty with Nengi. That’s a lot for this Lockdown House, but low-key (or is it high-key) the guy is a spec!
Who’s got the keys to the friend zone?
Laycon seems to be leading this pack or is it Trikytee? No! It’s got to be Laycon; why else will you still be around a lady who has clearly shown you that she doesn’t find you attractive? At least Trikytee has accepted his friendzone and owned it with a big smile. I mean Laycon clearly gets hurt when he sees Erica with her House bae, Kiddwaya, but for some reason, he seems okay with being a shoulder to cry on when baby girl is going through relationship issues.
Seems our resident philosopher has caught the love bug, unfortunately for the wrong person.
Speaking of friendzones, where do we place Ozo and Dorathy, knowing fully-well that their entanglement hasn’t been fully disentangled? I’ll leave you to decide.
More gossip
Praise seems to be enjoying a swell time in the House. From the accolades Biggie gave him during the circus-themed Wager Challenge, to him winning this week’s Arena Games and now a week of pampering? Must be nice!
Tochi is that one guy that seems low-key, but really isn’t. This same Tochi was the one who made us know more about Nengi’s relationship outside the House and subtly made her know that she is leading people on in the House.
Interestingly, Tochi likes Wathoni and Tolanibaj and he asked the resident couple, Kiddrica on the choice to make. That’s how Kiddwaya said Wathoni is an easier choice, because she’s down for everything. Ah, my chest is paining me, See why it’s not good to be choosing only one man for your truth or dare options? You got to mix it up and confuse your enemies in order to avoid them seeing the finish line. (Please don’t ask me how I know).
Let’s stay tuned for his final choice, but till then, who would you rather ship him with?
The self-proclaimed boss lady, Ka3na, has had a topsy turvy week in Biggie’s House. Food fights that led to her going into her shell, but later coming out in a sexy pink dress. That girl knows how to dance, I swear and have you seen her unleash her wild side during truth or dare sessions? If you missed watching her dance, ensure you don’t miss out next time.
Kaisha is an interesting Housemate. I find her cute and funny at the same time.Or is she really a weirdo like Tolanibaj called her?
Talking about Lucy, we need to seem more of Lucy beneath the temperamental individual she keeps showing us. But yesterday was mad, indeed, when she was involved in the late night games and didn’t hold back at all. We need to see more of that baby girl!
You know that moment of what you ordered vs what they delivered? Tolanibaj promised us that she would be open-minded before entering the House and after the first day, my girl crawled back into her shell. I was so confused until Ebuka asked her and she said she’s still observing. I can’t lie my people, if not for her and Erica on the Saturday Night Party dance floor, I would have gone into the House to beat all the Housemates.
Let’s thank Ebuka for going to shake her table small, if not we wouldn’t have seem her call Kaisha a weirdo with mental issues, neither would we have seen her fight a whole boss lady for food. Yes girl, give us some more drama!
How many sunglasses did she bring into the House, between? Biggie, please count and come and gist us.
Wathoni
The naturally pretty dimpled lady who was the only girl to go to the first Saturday Night Party make up free is morphing into something that we never really expected. Our sister was heard saying that she came to break tables. Unbelievable! This sweet, innocent face? I don’t think this table will break again, because she has been giving us so much mouth. I hope it doesn’t end in tears as Kiddwaya is already saying she’s an easier target. My chest still pains me on top this issue.
Anyway, it’s August, and it already seems like the month ushered in a new set of entanglements in Biggie’s House, right?
While we await the second party of the Season, I can’t help but imagine how dynamics in the House will change after the Lockdown Housemates experience their first Eviction night. Who do you think is leaving?
I have tried for you people today. So until next week, stay locked down and stay safe!
