ASUU Commences Indefinite Strike
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), on Monday, March 23rd, 2020 declared an indefinite strike over the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) and the non-implementation of the 2009 agreement.
The ASUU’s National President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, announced the strike during a press conference in the union’s National Secretariat, Abuja.
He remarked that the government has failed to address the matter the union raised.
Recall that ASUU had on Monday, March 9th, 2020, declared a two-week warning strike.
