South West state governors have stated that they are prepared to take on the northern fundamentalist organization, ISWAP, if and when necessary. Following their meeting yesterday in Lagos, they announced that they had decided to create a combined surveillance monitoring team to supervise and coordinate security activities throughout the area, as well as to designate special advisors on security in each state.
