Sixteen members of the same family were allegedly burnt to death by armed criminals who attacked Bakali village in Fatika District, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020.

According to eyewitnesses, say armed bandits stormed the village at about 4:00 pm, setting everything they set sight on, including motorcycles, vehicles and bags of grains, on fire.

A resident of the village said the armed bandits, who were over 100 in number, locked up the sixteen (16) members of the same family in a room and set fire to the house.

The Kaduna State Police Command has not yet commented on the incident.
