Officers of the Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested a 13-year-old boy for murdering his senior brother, aged 20, in Bayelsa State.

Flavision gathered that the teenager identified as Ebikari Andrew stabbed his senior brother named Fineboy Andrew with a kitchen knife.

Reports say that the two brothers had “a misunderstanding” which which later precipitated to a physical fight on Sunday, March 8th, 2020.

The Bayelsa State Police Command confirmed the incident in a statement on Monday, March 9th, saying the suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Asinim Butswat, said that the two siblings’ father rushed the victim to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

The suspect has been arrested and the murder weapon is recovered. Investigation is going on,

he said.
