Foreign Investors Eye Nigeria’s Growing Agro, Plastprint Sectors

At least 100 exhibitors from more than 15 nations will be examining business prospects in Nigeria’s rapidly growing agrofood and plastprint industries.
This is as the regional food packaging industry, which currently generates over €304 million, keeps attracting new clients, strengthening Nigeria’s position in the international market.
Nigeria is also positioned as a desirable place to invest because to its booming food output, which increased from €26 billion in 2016 to €36.3 billion in 2020 and is expected to increase by 48%.
According to Freyja Detjen, senior project manager at Fairtrade, investors attending the 10th agrofood and plastprintpack Nigeria will have the exceptional opportunity to access the largest economy in West Africa and benefit from the experience of international players.
