MTN Group’s First-quarter 2019 Service Revenue Rises By 10%
The South African telecom firm, MTN Group, has reported higher group service revenue for the first quarter of the year 2019. The holding company stated that the revenue rise was boosted by continued expansion in voice and data, as well as enhanced fintech revenue.
The company said that the group service revenue, which rose by 10 percent was led by performance in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.
MTN further said the company remains committed to achieving medium-term targets.
