Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 423 New Cases In Nigeria; 117 In Lagos, 40 In FCT, 35 In Ondo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed four hundred and twenty three (423) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 423 coronavirus cases in the country, 117 in Lagos, 40 in the FCT, 35 in Ondo, 28 in Rivers, 24 in Osun, 21 in Benue, 19 in Abia, 19 in Ogun, 18 in Ebonyi, 17 in Delta, 17 in Kwara, 15 in Kaduna, 14 in Anambra, 11 in Ekiti, 9 in Kano, 6 in Imo, 4 in Gombe, 3 in Oyo, 3 in Taraba, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo and 1 in Nasarawa.
As of Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 there are 47,290 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 33,609 patients have been discharged, with 956 deaths.
