Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 290 New Cases In Nigeria; 82 In Lagos, 82 In Plateau, 19 In Oyo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and ninety (290) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
The newly-confirmed 290 coronavirus cases in the country were reported in 16 state: Lagos (82), Plateau (82), Oyo (19), FCT (18), Edo (16), Kaduna (15), Enugu (9), Ogun (9), Kano (8), Kwara (8), Cross River (5), Ondo (5), Rivers (5), Ekiti (4), Imo (3) and Borno (2).
As of Monday, August 10th, 2020 there are 46,867 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 33,346 patients have been discharged, with 950 deaths.
