Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 604 New Cases In Nigeria; 203 In Lagos, 87 In Oyo, 79 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed six hundred and four (604) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 604 coronavirus cases in the country, 203 in Lagos, 87 in Oyo, 79 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 41 in Edo, 35 in Osun, 24 in Ogun, 22 in Rivers, 22 in Kaduna, 20 in Akwa Ibom, 18 in Plateau, 9 in Delta, 9 in Ebonyi, 8 in Imo, 5 in Enugu, 5 in Kano, 5 in Cross River, 4 in Katsina, 3 in Nasarawa, 2 in Borno, 2 in Ekiti and 1 in Bauchi.
As of Thursday, July 23rd, there are 38,948 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 16,061 patients have been discharged, with 833 deaths.
