Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 556 New Cases In Nigeria; 104 In Edo, 97 In Lagos, 70 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed five hundred and fifty six (556) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 556 coronavirus cases in the country, 104 in Edo, 97 in Lagos, 70 in the FCT, 66 in Benue, 61 in Oyo, 38 in Kaduna, 28 in Plateau, 19 in Osun, 14 in Akwa Ibom, 13 in Rivers, 13 in Katsina, 13 in Ondo, 6 in Ogun, 5 in Kano, 4 in Nasarawa, 2 in Gombe, 2 in Ekiti and 1 in Borno.
As of Sunday, July 19th, 2020, there are 36,663 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 15,105 patients have been discharged, with 789 deaths.
