Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 571 New Cases In Nigeria; 152 In Lagos, 108 In Ebonyi, 53 In Edo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed five hundred and seventy one (571) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 571 coronavirus cases in the country, 152 in Lagos, 108 in Ebonyi, 53 in Edo, 46 in Ondo, 38 in the FCT, 20 in Oyo, 19 in Kwara, 17 in Plateau, 14 in Osun, 14 in Bayelsa, 14 in Ekiti, 14 in Katsina, 11 in Akwa Ibom, 11 in Kaduna,11 in Rivers,10 in Niger, 7 in Ogun, 6 in Kano, 4 in Cross River and 2 in Bauchi.
As of Sunday, July 12th, 2020, there are 32,558 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 13,447 patients have been discharged, with 740 deaths.
