Former England International and Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand and his wife Kate have announced they are expecting their first together.

The former TOWIE star, 29, and ex-Manchester United defender, 41, revealed the news on social media on Thursday evening.

Kate shared a sweet family video via Instagram and then wrote:

The crazy house is about to get a little bit crazier.. every time I watch this it makes me cry, the best reaction Baby Ferdy we are all so excited to meet you.

The blonde beauty and Rio were with his children, Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, 9 going through baby pictures before she announced:

I am pregnant!

to her excited stepchildren who all started cheering and jumping about.

The reality star then cradled her growing baby bump and added:

Have you not noticed?

Rio, while announcing the development on his Instagram handle, wrote:

We got our wish, another Ferdinand en route!!

This will be Kate’s first child and fourth for Rio. He welcomed his three other children with his first wife, Rebecca, who passed away in 2015 after a short battle with breast cancer.

Rio and Kate started their relationship in 2017 and tied the knot in September 2019 with a romantic ceremony in Turkey.
