Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 196 New Cases In Nigeria; 87 In Lagos, 24 In Kano, 18 In Gombe, 17 In Kaduna, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and ninety six (196) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed coronavirus cases in the country, 87 cases were recorded in Lagos, 24 in Kano, 18 in Gombe, 17 in Kaduna, 16 in FCT, 10 in Katsina, 8 in Sokoto, 7 in Edo, 6 in Borno, 1 in Yobe, 1-Ebonyi and 1 in Adamawa.
As at 11:55 pm on Wednesday, April 29th, 2020, there are 1728 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) reported in Nigeria. 307 patients have been discharged, with 51 deaths.
Currently, confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
