Coronavirus: Buhari, Health Minister, NCDC Boss Meet At State House
President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Health, Prof. Osagie Ehanire, and the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Dr. Chikwe Ikekweazu, have met at the State House in Abuja.
The pictures of that meeting, which were just uploaded online by the State House, showed Buhari and the other stakeholders observing social distancing throughout the meeting.
Our sources at the State House said that the health officials were invited to provide update on the ravaging coronavirus pandemic for the President.
Nigeria now has recorded eighty one (81) confirmed cases of coronavirus, with three discharged and one death.
The meeting came amid insinuations that Buhari had been flown out of the country for coronavirus (COVID-19) treatment.
However, the President had on Monday, March 23rd, 2020, tested negative to coronavirus, but he has not addressed the nation, since Nigeria recorded its first confirmed case in Lagos State.
