DJ Cuppy Becomes “Save The Children UK” Ambassador

DJ Cuppy and Save the Children

Florence Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy, is now changing the future of millions of kids across Nigeria in particular, and the world at large, by serving as a “Save the Children UK” Ambassador.

Recall that the “Save the Children Fund” is a non-profit organization formed in the UK to improve the lives of children via better education, health care, and economic opportunities, and also providing emergency aid in wars, natural disasters and other conflicts.

Using their official Twitter account this morning, “Save The Children UK” tweeted the following:

2 million children in Nigeria could die in the next decade if we don’t take action on #pneumonia.

Thanks to our ambassador @cuppymusic
for supporting us this week: ‘we are stronger together’ 💪📽️.

Together we can save millions of children’s lives. #StopPneumonia

Also included in the tweet was a video with DJ Cuppy’s narrative:
First there was an intro, “One child dies of pneumonia every 39 seconds”.

After the intro, came Cuppy’s narrative:

I reckon there’s about 30 different nationalities being represented in this forum, which is an amazing start. I can really see this growing more and more.

I’m proud that representatives from my country, Nigeria have come. It shows how important the government is this horrible, horrible disease. And so I think the message here is that we are stronger together and also everything we do now will impact our next generation.

And so, we can prevent pneumonia.
And that’s what it’s all about. Let’s do it.
