Reno Omokri Corrects A Twitter User That Replied To His Tweet About Faith And Laziness
This evening at about 6:38pm, Reno Omokri explained in a tweet the thin line between faith in God and laziness. Someone whose Twitter profile states “Lover of Christ” replied with an implication that the Bible promised that God would fight for us.
In his tweet, Reno Omokri wrote:
There is a thin line between laziness and faith. Praying for God to do it for you is laziness. Praying for God to empower you to do it by yourself is faith. God promised to bless your work. He did not promise to do it for you, even if you believe

The Twitter user named Nigeria Based Engineer with a handle, @StephenAdeyeye1, wrote, with reference to Exodus 14:14 of the holy Bible:
“I will fight for you and you’ll hold your peace”.
Omokri corrected him saying:
Dear @StephenAdeyeye1,
Step 1: Buy a dictionary
Step 2: Learn the meaning of the word ‘fight’
Step 3: Learn the meaning of the word ‘work’
Step 4: Meditate until you understand the difference
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 until the penny drops!
