Graphic Pictures Of Two Suspected Armed Robbers Burnt To Death In Bayelsa
Two suspected armed robbers were mercilessly beaten and burnt to death by an angry mob, after they allegedly attempted to rob a Point of Sale (POS) business centre located along the Green Villa Road, in Biogbolo area of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Eye witnesses said that the slain suspected robbers stormed the business centre in the evening on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020, in a Lexus Jeep as clients were waiting to deposit money. But got more than they bargained for, when they met their Waterloo after the POS attendant cried for help.
The crowd that gathered meted out jungle justice on the two suspected criminal, and even torched their getaway SUV.
Recall that jungle justice is against the Nigerian law, and that the right approach would have been to hand the suspects over to the police for proper investigation and resultant prosecution. It is also important to note that the suspected robbers’ vehicle may have been a stolen one, meaning that the rightful owner will never recover it again.
