Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 189 New Cases In Nigeria; 70 In Lagos, 37 In Plateau, 24 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and eighty nine (189) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 189 coronavirus cases in the country, 70 were recorded in Lagos, 37 in Plateau, 24 in the FCT, 19 in Kaduna, 12 in Rivers, 5 in Oyo, 4 in Ogun, 3 in Ebonyi, 3 in Katsina, 3 in Ondo, 3 in Osun, 2 in Imo, 2 in Yobe, 1 in Ekiti and 1 in Nasarawa.
As of Saturday, September 19th, 2020 there are 57,145 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 48,431 patients have been discharged, with 1,095 deaths.
