Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 131 New Cases In Nigeria; 45 In Lagos, 17 In Kaduna, 17 In Plateau, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and thirty one (131) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 131 coronavirus cases in the country, 45 were recorded in Lagos, 17 in Kaduna, 17 in Plateau, 16 in the FCT, 6 in Delta, 6 in Niger, 5 in Kwara, 3 in Oyo, 2 in Akwa Ibom, 2 in Cross River, 2 in Ekiti, 2 in Enugu, 2 in Osun, 2 in Sokoto, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Ebonyi, 1 in Katsina and 1 in Rivers.
As of Thursday, September 17th, 2020 there are 56,735 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 48,092 patients have been discharged, with 1,093 fatalities.
