Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 155 New Cases In Nigeria; 42 In Lagos, 25 In Plateau, 16 In Rivers, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and fifty five (155) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 155 coronavirus cases in the country, 42 were recorded in Lagos, 25 in Plateau, 16 in Rivers, 10 in Ebonyi, 9 in Abia, 9 in Ogun, 9 in the FCT, 7 in Osun, 6 in Katsina, 6 in Kaduna, 4 in Ekiti, 4 in Taraba, 3 in Edo, 2 in Anambra, 2 in Akwa Ibom and 1 in Kano.
As of Monday, September 7th, 2020 there are 55,160 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 43,231 patients have been discharged, with 1,061 deaths.
