Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 162 New Cases In Nigeria; 53 In Lagos, 21 In Gombe, 19 In Oyo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and sixty two (162) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 162 coronavirus cases in the country, 53 were recorded in Lagos, 21 in Gombe, 19 in Oyo, 12 in Delta, 11 in Ondo, 10 in Plateau, 9 in Ebonyi, 6 in the FCT, 6 in Kwara, 5 in Kaduna, 3 in Rivers, 2 in Ogun, 2 in Anambra, 2 in Imo and 1 in Ekiti.
As of Saturday, September 5th, 2020 there are 54,905 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 42,922 patients have been discharged, with 1,054 deaths.
