Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 156 New Cases In Nigeria; 36 In Lagos, 35 In FCT, 29 In Oyo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and fifty six (156) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 156 coronavirus cases in the country, 36 were reported in Lagos, 35 in the FCT, 29 in Oyo, 10 in Kaduna, 9 in Abia, 5 in Osun, 5 in Ogun, 5 in Enugu, 4 in Rivers, 3 in Nasarawa, 3 in Ekiti, 3 in Imo, 2 in Edo, 2 in Kwara, 2 in Katsina, 2 in Plateau and 1 in Niger.
As of Friday, September 4th, 2020 there are 54,743 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 42,816 patients have been discharged, with 1,051 deaths.
