Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 216 New Cases In Nigeria; 59 In Plateau, 27 In Rivers, 22 In Abia, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and sixteen (216) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 216 coronavirus cases in the country, 59 were reported in Plateau, 27 in Rivers, 22 in Abia, 20 in Lagos, 18 in Oyo, 17 in Enugu, 11 in Kaduna, 11 in FCT, 10 in Ogun, 4 in Ebonyi, 4 in Osun, 4 in Ekiti, 3 in Delta, 3 in Edo, 2 in Akwa Ibom and 1 in Bauchi.
As of Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 there are 54,463 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 42,439 patients have been discharged, with 1,027 deaths.
