Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 296 New Cases In Nigeria; 85 In Plateau, 46 In Enugu, 31 In Oyo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and ninety six (296) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 296 coronavirus cases in the country, 85 in Plateau, 46 in Enugu, 31 in Oyo, 21 in Lagos, 20 in Rivers, 15 in the FCT, 13 in Kaduna, 12 in Bauchi, 11 in Delta, 11 in Ekiti, 7 in Akwa Ibom, 6 in Ebonyi, 5 in Kwara, 4 in Ogun, 4 in Osun, 3 in Gombe and 2 in Niger.
As of Thursday, August 27th, 2020 there are 53,317 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 40,726 patients have been discharged, with 1,011 deaths.
